watsons bay

Yesterday was one of those glorious Sydney winter days. T-shirt and jeans weather. Bright blue skies. Shimmering water. And everyone so happy for this treat on the weekend. And so we headed down to Watsons Bay yesterday. A place that is so unmistakably Sydney and yet still retains some of its former fishing village charm with the most adorable houses. How I could live here!

Oh Natalie,
These pics do make me a little teary - we spent 10 years living in the beautiful Camp Cove and I rarely make it down there these days. It's so lovely to be reminded of this beautiful place.

Well, I am envious. What a glorious place to live. How could you have left?!?! But having seen some pics of your current abode, I can completely understand. Tough choice, though!

Wow gorgeous pictures! In stark contrast it has been pouring it down all weekend in Melbourne!

Glad you enjoyed the pics, Kate. I'm in the process of organising a couple of trips to Melbourne - both in November so I hope the weather improves for then. Besides with so many great indoor cafes, it won't matter!
