tasmania

Bought this cute retro child's chair in Sorrell, near Hobart.

Just got back from a family holiday in Tasmania. It was wonderful and exhausting all at once. On the one hand it was great to have D by my side every day to take on joint parenting duties (versus just doing it all on my own during the week while he's at work), but on the other hand it was tiring trying to get Little C to sleep in the car and other strange environments. But all-in-all, we all survived and got to see family and some more of the beautiful Tasmanian countryside. And today I just picked up a passport for C - next stop, Fiji!

Anastasiac, I was just thinking today how big his head looks! I weighed him too - 6.2kg. Oh, and watch out for the travel article for Real Living - it will include some great places to stay and things to do. I highly recommend @VDL in Stanley and 2onWarneford in Hobart.

How cute are you two! Glad you had a nice break in Tassie. We had an incredible time in Fiji last year just before our litte one was born and promised ourselves to go back to make use of the great kids clubs there. If only it didn't involve a flight each way...

Steph - we have a grandad waiting to meet Charlie in Fiji so hoping this will be a "kids club" of sorts! We will be mainly staying on the main island but hope to do a day trip or two to other islands - any recommendations welcome.
