happy holidays

I'm off to do some baking in preparation for Christmas. I won't be doing any more posts between now and the new year. And pretty much as soon as 2009 comes around I'll be back at work - no more maternity leave for me. I'm not sure how regularly I'll be able to post once I do start back at real living so I'd rather upload the site with features that you really love. So, please, if you can spare a minute I'd love to get your feedback. All comments are welcome... Oh, and thank you all so much for visiting this year. I can't tell you what a lifeline it has been being part of the blog world while staying at home to look after my baby boy. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Hey Natalie, thank YOU for your blog. The posts I have enjoyed the most have been your 'Burst of Inspiration' interviews. It's going to be a juggling act working full time, having a home and family life and a one year old, without trying to blog too. Try not to put any additional pressure on yourself! Have a great Christmas and I hope you enjoy going back to work.

I agree with Lisa, thank YOU. Have a "restful" Christmas and New Year and enjoy the stepping back into the mag environment. It sounds supportive and a great place to work.

Thanks, Lisa. I'm thinking about tweaking the site because really most posts - such as shop talk and art attack - are about inspiring people but they're just not called that. Hmmm. Something to think about over the next week or so. And, yes, next year is going to be interesting to say the least! Thanks for stopping by regularly and leaving comments. I really appreciate it. Have a great Christmas, too. x

Katiecrackernuts, as you can see by the fact that I'm doing regular posts with Babyccino now, I'm not very good at resting. (And hence my outpouring of posts while on maternity leave.) But I will try to slow down just a little. Oh, and I finally made your pumpkin and ricotta tart the other day. Delicious! Have a great Christmas. x

Haha, Nikole. Relax! I know what it's like. I have only two weeks before I go to work and I'm looking at the long list of things I've yet to do! Get back to me when you can. And in the meantime, enjoy one of your delicious-looking baking treats. x

Merry Christmas Natalie,
Thanks so much for all of your lovely posts this year - particularly your Burst of Inspiration's - what a wonderful way to celebrate of the creative talent out there.
Keep well. Good luck back at the mag. I'm sure I'll see you around the traps sometime!
Sx

Thanks, Shannon. I'm just overwhelmed by what a wonderful world of people are out there in blogland. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging, it's truly a great network to be part of and I hope I can find the time to continue to be part of it next year and onwards. x
