For people who say they "don't get modern art", I think they just haven't looked at enough of it. Because there really is something for everybody. For me, I'm loving the work of Song Ling right now. He has just held an exhibition at Eva Breuer Art Dealer.

I recently saw Ling's "Shanghai Flower" at the Art Gallery of NSW and I love the intensity of colour and graphic nature of her work.

And apologies to Song Ling for thinking he was a she. It's always tricky with Chinese names as they write the last name first. Then when we westernise them we swap the order. In the Sulman catalogue he was listed as Ling Song, so I assumed Ling was the (female) artist's first name. What a long and convoluted comment!!
Don't worry, Lisa. I made the same mistake! It's such a poetic sounding name.
