Here are a few more pics from the floral garden shoot that I styled for the September issue of real living. Doing this project made me think that we really don't make the best use of our gardens. The idea behind the shoot was so simple - take a rug, some blankets and cushions outside and create a space to lay back and relax. As the weather is warming up, seems like a wonderful thing to do.

I really am in love with that sofa!!!
That certainly is an inspiration. That floral red fabric against the green grass is gorgeous! Michelle
The chair and couch fabric combos are inspired. Looking forward to seeing the pics in the mag.
I love this, such great work. I don't usually use colour but I am very inspired to put colour in my soon to be garden, thanks x
I love everything in these images... the colour is just fabulous! :) Hazel
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the colours and fabrics. Just goes to show you don't just have to stick to plain or striped fabric in the garden. If you can't use floral fabric in your garden, where can you!
you did a beautiful job, natalie. thanks for sharing the extra pics; unfortunately i love the idea of hanging in the garden with lush things around me, more than doing it, down here in melbourne, the mozzies and flies often get the better of us!!! will give it another go this summer. x
Thanks Shelley - you must, must do it though. I got inspired after this shoot. Just taking a couple of cushions outside and a few throws would do the trick. x
