One example is BTC, an English company that makes lights out of its original Oxford factory. Dunlin Home have collaborated with them to create the Titan pendant lamp, which is based on an original 1940s British design and handmade.

I think the putty grey one is just beautiful. (but could be influenced by the great styling for the photo!) I think the aluminium one creates the perfect balance between that industrial edge of the light-fitting and a sleek modern classic.
